This Mistake Will Cost You
You and I exist to reveal God to others. But, do our lives look more like Him or the enemy? It’s a choice that will bring rewards or great cost.

The enemy wants to destroy us. And as he attempts to facilitate that destruction, he isolates us from the people who care about us. He convinces us to withdraw instead of connect.
Every time we trust the enemy’s words over what God speaks, we fall into the same sin Adam and Eve committed in the garden. We reject God in favor of his enemy. You and I need to stop bowing down to the wrong spirit.

We’ve all encountered a fair amount of pain in the past couple weeks. Have you noticed when it gets too much, we check out, numbing ourselves with our drug of choice, like mindless scrolling or binge watching—whatever we need to do to escape? But that’s not who we are.
I’ve spent the last 18 years telling God that I’ll go wherever He sends me. And I believed I would. I’ve followed Him to churches and retreat centers all over the place. Let’s walk through this together in today’s Word on Wednesday.

If you are a follower of Jesus, are you “still a sinner?”
Jesus didn’t die to make us fair weather fans, beloved. He died for followers, for those who would risk everything to stand with Him. Are you a fan or a follower?
God has commissioned us to change the world and positioned us to see it done. The question is, are we willing?
