How often have we convinced ourselves that if only we could witness the miracles described in scripture, we would believe? But the Israelites saw and they still didn’t believe. Are we any different?

Distance remains the enemy’s goal, dear one. He wants to separate us from our Creator so that he can render us powerless. But while we might feel better with a little distance, the God who created us does not.

These days, we don’t really expect Jesus to astonish us. When was the last time the glory of Christ’s presence ignited you to share your experience of Him? Let's change that!

Whether or not it’s presently popular to believe it, God’s Word remains true. Infallible. Flawless. For too long we’ve allowed others to tell us what truth is. We need to open our Bibles and permit the Teacher Himself to write His Word upon our hearts. Let's do that together with today's Word on Wednesday.
